Power of Reflection
Proverbs 4: 7 Wisdom is the most important thing; so get wisdom. If it costs everything you have, get understanding.
By chasing after wisdom in our lives we will find understanding. Do we have to understand everything in our life at that moment when it happens? No! Yet we need to look for answers to things that are affecting us at this moment in time. Some will be clear now and others will come later if we keep seeking that answer. Yes, I know some never seem to come. But what we find is how those moments in time shape us. Wisdom will show us how situations build us to be able to handle other things later.
One of the best ways to do this is through “Reflection” Each day or at least once a week take time to look over the things that you learned each day or through that week. Lessons learned even when they were not expected or planned out. If we don’t we may have to go through the same stuff again and again. That is the price we pay for understanding!
“Knowledge without application is simply knowledge. Applying the knowledge to one’s life is wisdom — and that is the ultimate virtue.”
